Get Your Skates On

Skating is second nature to Townshippers and there are many places to enjoy this invigorating sport – not just in arenas as is the norm, but in the open air! You can skate on any number of frozen lakes but are three key venues – Granby (Lac Boivin), Sherbrooke (Promenade du Lac-des-Nations and Domaine-Howard Park) and Magog, where a 2.5km trail (illuminated at night), runs along the shores of scenic Lake Memphremagog.
