Everybody outside... in the Townships
Enjoying the outdoors in the Townships can take many different forms, like having a good time outside with exotic animals… yes, you did read that right. You won’t actually be rolling around in the snow with Bengal tigers but you can watch them frolicking about in their winter quarters at Granby Zoo. See exotic animals from Africa, Asia, South America and Oceania, many of which live outdoors. The winter facilities set up for them are open to the public and were designed to allow you to see the animals up close. The animal keepers will become your best friends. They’re the ones who train the animals, give bottles to orphaned babies, and rub shoulders with the biggest of the beasts. They’ll also share their secrets and answer your questions. Don’t miss the chance to share such a unique experience with your children! The Zoo will be open every weekend until February 15 and everyday from February 21 to March 8.
