The Fête des neiges in Magog

Magog’s annual snowfest, which runs over the next two weekends, kicks off this Saturday. The Fête des neiges features all kinds of exciting attractions – games for kids and adults, a skating competition, tubing, music, dancing, inflatable games, the chance to try out a fat bike, mascots and a village des saveurs (area that sells snacks).

Plaisirs d’hiver in Eastman

An introduction to fat bikes, skijoring (a sled or skis pulled by a horse), a zipline, toffee on snow, an interpretative hike, snowmobile and sleigh rides, tubing, a campfire, free hot drinks, a gourmet snack bar….. PHEW! You’ll almost need more than a weekend to pack everything in!

The Famili-Neige in Granby

With all the things planned for Saturday at parc Daniel-Johsnon, this family-oriented winter celebration could well leave you exhausted by the end of the day! Fat bikes, obstacle course, horse-drawn wagon rides, live entertainment and a show in the evening with the group Dubmatique and Sydney Lallier, winner of La Voix Junior (a TV show).

This will be a looooong day with lots ‘n’ lots of fun! Incidentally, the Famili-Neige winter celebration, will be repeated the following Saturday (February 10) with just as many activities.

Polar Beach Party (Lac-Brome)

Because winter is also a great time to have fun, Lac-Brome Recreation and Community Services invites you to take part in its Polar Beach Party activities! On February 3rd, from 1 to 5 pm, join us in celebrating the joys of winter at the magical Douglass Beach.

Journée Mordus de l’hiver (Valcourt)

All day Saturday, visitors will be able to « grab winter with both hands » during the Journée Mordus de l’hiver at the Museum of Ingenuity J. Armand Bombardier. Participation is free and the majority of activities take place outside – a parade of snowmobiles and vintage snow machines, inflatable games, a rally (using a GPS), snowmobile circuits etc. Well worth a detour to Valcourt!

Winter market in Sutton

This weekend, why not browse the goods offered for sale at the new Winter Market in Sutton? Of course, if you decide to buy something, then this activity can no longer be classified as free!

20 food producers will be on site with a selection of gourmet products – chocolate, artisanal breads, organic meat, wines etc. – as well as books, handcrafted items and artwork. If you don’t have time to drop by this weekend, don’t worry. The market will be running every weekend from now until the month of May.
